Programs and Services Our programs help youth develop into responsible citizens by providing real skills, igniting passions, and inspiring confidence about their future. They focus on five core initiatives: Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts and Technology and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. We also run summer camp programs for children and leadership programs for teens.
CHARACTER and Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage. EDUCATION and Programs in this Core Program Area enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations and embrace technology to achieve success in a career. POWER HOUR, CAREER LAUNCH, PROJECT LEARN, MONEY MATTERS, GOALS FOR GRADUATION, SPORTS CLUB. HEALTH and LIFE SKILLS Develop young peoples capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals, and develop the competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults. PASSPORT TO MANHOOD, SMART GIRLS, CAVITY-FREE ZONE, NETSMARTZ, TRIPLE PLAY, SMART MOVES. SPORTS, FITNESS and RECREATION These Club programs help develop fitness, a positive use of leisure time, reduction of stress, appreciation for the environment and social and interpersonal skills. TRIPLE PLAY, SPORTS CLUB, GAMES ROOM TOURNAMENTS, JUNIOR CAVS BASKETBALL, STRUCTURED SPORTS PROGRAM. THE ARTS and TECHNOLOGY Enable youth to develop their creative and culture awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts and creative writing. WEB TECH, DESIGN TECH, PHOTO TECH, MUSIC TECH, MOVIE TECH, MURAL ARTS, DANCE CLUB, FIELD TRIPS.
